After waiting for almost a year, Xiaomi is finally about to launch its New Redmi Note 12 smartphone. The company planning to launch Remi Note 12, this month.
The company also has confirmed the upcoming launch event in china. So what can we expect from the Redmi Note 12? Will it be available in other countries? How much it will cost? What are the Specs?
Here’s what we know so far about the Redmi Note 12, which could be a very powerful phone. Don’t worry we will cover everything in this post.
Redmi Note 12 Releasing date
Redmi confirmed on Weibo(A Chinese social network), that Redmi Note 12 will be released this month. Along with the news, the company posted this teaser poster:

About a year has passed since the Redmi Note 11 came out, which was in October 2021. Then, it took a few months for that phone to come out everywhere else. It didn’t hit Europe until early 2022, so it’s likely that we’ll have to wait a similar amount of time for the Note 12 series to come out outside of China.
Redmi Note 12 Price
We don’t know how much the phones will cost because they haven’t been released yet. So, we can look at what happened before to see what you can expect.
| Model No. | Price - When launched |
|---|---|
| Remi Note 11 | $199 |
| Remi Note 11S | $249 |
| Remi Note 11 Pro | $329 |
| Remi Note 11 Pro 5G | $369 |
| Remi Note 11 Pro+5g | $449 |
We don’t think the Note 12 series will move too far from these prices since they are similar to the prices of the Poco and Xiaomi devices that are similar to them. Of course, the current problems with production and distribution networks caused by Covid and the war in Ukraine could cause prices to go up a little bit. We hope not.
Redmi Note 12 - Specs and Features
Xiaomi hasn’t released any specs yet, we don’t have official specs for the different Note 12 models just yet. It looks like Redmi Note 12 Series will use 6.6-inch Full HD+ displays, which are the same size as the ones on the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 11 Pro.
This tweet says that the thickness is 8.8mm. This could mean that the design is completely changed. The 4300mAh and 4980mAh batteries are also different, as most devices from the last generation had batteries of 5,000mAh or slightly more. Both of the phones have 5G, two SIM cards, and Android 12.
Notebookcheck has already said that Redmi will release three Note 12 series devices in China. These devices are expected to use MediaTek Dimensity 810, 1300, and 8000 chipsets.
The 67W, 120W, and 210W fast chargers will be on the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
